I’ve mostly got my desktop rebuilt with Win 7 RC and still have room to spare on the new hard drive.  To the left is shows how much disk space I have left … so far I’m trying to stick to the basics and just put the latest version of things on the machine (VS 2008 and Sql Server 2008, etc.).

The blinking monitor problem I mentioned yesterday, turned out to be a loose cable.

The performance of applications  loading is impressive so far – but I haven’t done too much with it yet.

The Windows Experience Index is a little better than it was before I rebuilt the machine (Original Windows Experience was 5.5). The only differences are I now have 8G of all new Ram and 128G SSD hard drive and Window 7 64bit (instead of Vista 32bit).
