Two book reviews in the last 2 weeks ... finally!  Next thing for me to do is get back to blogging everyday technical stuff.  I've started a blog entry on single sign-on but still need to finish it.  Yesterday I finished the look and feel of the next version of jasonhaley.com - except for the font styles. 

Some of you readers of my link blog may have noticed a trend in the past 6 months ... I'm reading more business and innovation material than I use to.  The bad thing about that is: only 2/3 to 1/2 of my links now seem to be technical in nature.   The trigger for this change was moving from a job where I coded 8+ hours a day in a cube to a job at an innovation company (only coding at most half the day ... and no one has cubes or offices).  My day to day responsibilities at work, have taken a step up from code monkey to having to deal with some contracts and creating time and cost estimates (specs and other documents) ... plus coding when needed.  Currently we are working on a project which I'm playing the role of lead developer, tech project manager, developer, etc. so the coding season is open :)

I've also not been able to get myself to take the GRE yet ... so no homework for awhile except my own side projects ... which now consists of re-writing my site in .net 3.5 and starting another site (www.careerinsoftware.com) which I am looking to start a company around ... lots of details to work out yet.

Weather is getting warmer here in Seattle and it is a three day weekend ... so I think it is time for me to get away from the computer for a while ... until later :)
