Anyone trying to prevent debugging your .Net application?

by Jason Haley 5. June 2006 10:44

Today I'm doing a bit of research and writing.  I happened upon the System.Diagnostics namespace and starting thinking about how it might be useful to keep someone from attaching a debugger to your application or maybe keeping certain methods from being debugged ... anyone out there doing this?

The classes that got me thinking were: DebuggableAttribute, DebuggerHiddenAttribute and of course the Debug.IsDebuggerAttached.  I'm not suggesting anyone try this (and I haven't really looked into it), just wondering if else has had the same thought ...

Anyways, time for a coffee break ...
