Just a few places you might want to check out...

You gotta get out to the San Juan Islands in June, it's about a two hour drive up to Anacortes and a 45 min ferry ride and in June it's gorgeous out there. There are multiple bed and breakfasts in Friday Harbor that you could stay at over night if you want to. I recommend Panacea http://www.panacea-inn.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.panacea-inn.com/">http://www.panacea-inn.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.panacea-inn.com/ , my wife and I stayed there for our 1st anniversary. Beautiful large rooms, close enough to walk down to the docks, but far enough away that you don't have to worry about lots of traffic. Not sure if the whales are in the area at that time or not. The seals probably are. The Lavendar farm should be running at full bloom. It could be a nice day trip or a day-and-a-half trip.

Pike Place, yeah gotta watch them throw the fish at least once. Try fish bar across from Lowells cafe, nice cheap fried fish. Lowells or the Athenian are good places to catch lunch. Pioneer Square. If you like strange history, the Underground Seattle tour down in Pioneer Square is really interesting. From Pioneer Sq. you can take the trolly down to the waterfront and catch lunch at Steamers or Ivars acres of clams.

You might enjoy the Experience Music project. You can catch the monorail in downtown Seattle at Westlake center, take it over to the Space Needle and it's a short walk from there to the EMP. You CAN'T miss the building, heck you'll probably notice it from the air. Think "Play doh building".

You should hang out in Fremont one afternoon, it's beautiful in the summer. See the troll under the Aurora bridge, the center of the universe, You might enjoy seeing the Salmon run at the locks in Ballard.

If you're going out on the penensula to Kalaoch Lodge, you should definitely make your way over to the coast and check out first or second beach.

Try to eat out one night at Salty's on Alki in West Seattle. The view at night is gorgeous. You'll should be able to take the water taxi over there from downtown Seattle.

I'm a sucker for Lake Union since it's right across from where I work, if you've got time try Sams Steakhouse on Eastlake or the Blue Water cafe at the south end of Lake Union on Fairview Ave. I can also recommend the Kona Kitchen, it's a little further north in Seattle, 75th and 5th I believe, Hawaiian food, good prices.

Who cares what is "normal" for a honeymoon. A honeymoon is celebrating your love together. It's about the company you are with, not where you two are! We are honeymooning in Seattle as well and I am looking forward to it!
