My build documents for a typical .Net developer (with Msdn Universal ... or whatever they call it now) are now available at the following links:

Looks good and interesting. I do something similar, although right off the bat I sometimes have to setup my network driver first before I start the gammet of XP updates. I keep all the drivers on a USB drive in my laptop bag so in case I ever have to get the system up and running again.

The other thing is optional tools you don't list. While the document is excellent for creating the dev machine, there are some things that you want around but not necessarily install until you need it. Handy to have a list and keep copies on an external drive or DVD.
