We had a nice trip to see my family in Inidana yesterday and ended up in Rockford IL last night. It was nice to see my family for almost a day.
Driving conditions were great on Friday, but construction on I-70 in Ohio slowed us down a little.
Yeasterday the afternoon (started driving around 4pm), was a little cloudy mixed with some rain until we got to Chicago - then it was all rain. The Dan Ryan (the highway that goes through Chicago) seems to be under some major construction, which caused quite a bit of traffic on Sat night.
Some interesting stuff:
New York has had the most expensive gas: $3.31 a gallon - the premium stuff - yes we still baby the car;)
Indiana has had the fastest speed limit: 70 mph
Chicago has some areas of speeding enforced by photo (or something like that ... which REALLY slowed us down)
