Open Consultant Position We seek a consultant with Visual Basic / .NET skills to help build a complex investment report needed by one of our portfolio managers. This is estimated to be a 6 month + project starting in January 2006
Qualifications The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
· Strong understanding of investment processes, securities, analytics, market data services and associated data.
· Strong Microsoft Office Application expertise, in particular with Access, Excel and the creation/maintenance of Excel VBA macros.
· Strong understanding of software development practices.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Self motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast paced and team oriented development environment.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
· Strong client focus is a must.
· A CFA or demonstrated progress towards a CFA would be considered a strong plus.
· Familiarity with Factset would be a strong plus.
