An interesting find this morning....

I can neither confirm nor deny these allegations ...

I will however confirm that Dave Burke is one of the most original and nicest guys I have ever met … he might even have a future in writing fiction too.  That is if this Win forms thing doesn't work out for him ;)

Don Haley-ione (rhymes with Corleone),

Actually, is there anything to do in suburban Boston at 7:15 on a Saturday night? More importantly, did Fredo really ask you to get chicken wings? Reading your blog, I now see:

"I'm just writing this little ole' decompiler", "I'm just recovering some IL", "I'm just gonna take over a few more of these casinos"

"Bill Gates is in Boston and hasn't stopped by to pay his respects? Send Luca Brasi."

"Some day, and that day may never come, I will come to you and ask for a favor. This is the price you pay for being listed in Interesting Finds . . ."

p.s. Now you have me looking for the "severed horse's head" in my obfuscated assemblies.

---O: You crack me up. Do you know Casey (the lower cased one)? If so ask him, he'll tell you I'm just a normal guy ;)

Great. I'm just a normal guy, too.

I actually gave the "lower cased one" that name after Julie Lerman mistakenly referred to him as E.B. White (author of Stuart Little) instead off e e cummings (and I purposely have goofed with her about it being E.B. Smith, an imaginary name). I mention him here for the first time, just 5 days after I started blogging:

It's funny to read those posts, because I refer to Bill Ryan as Mr. Ryan (I'm always formal until I have had correspondence). His nickname now is DoubleI as listed here:

Until 2 weeks ago, I worked with the lower cased one and we had lunch basically everyday. He mentioned a few guys from Boston when he was out there (in particular, Fredo), so I'll ask him about you. Ahhhhhhhh the good old days.

p.s. I actually worked in Boston in Pre-.NET days. I kept a place in Milwaukee (primary residence) and commuted to Boston, keeping an apartment at the Devonshire (in the financial district). I consulted for an asset management firm at Rowes Wharf and later for a hedge fund on High Street.
