Jason,

Eilam's Reversing is on my summer reading list. I'm about halfway through it. I'd recommend it. I've peeked ahead at a few topics as well. Chapter 8 is on reversing malware and is my favorite to this point. The material contains many details, but it is lightweight reading, i.e. Eilam somehow gets his point across while making the book a quick read. I love books like this.

Just a note regarding Vijay and Reversing. Reversing is light on .NET topics (less than 40 pages of 500+ page book), so if you are looking for .NET reversing info, I'd look elsewhere (and don't have a recommendation). .NET obfuscation is covered in less than 10 pages.

Kaspersky's book looks good as well, but I haven't gotten my hands on a copy to see if it's a keeper.

Jason, I think you have a book in the making here now that I think about it. OS is right, there's not much out there for .Net...not that I've found anyway.

OptionsScalper - thanks for the info. Sounds will I might just order Reversing then, been buying a book a week for the past 4 weeks, might as well order another one this week ;)

Scott - That's not a bad idea. Currently I am working on completing the functionality that I want to present at the Code Camp (main stuff that most people deal with - ie. maybe no interop or unmanaged stuff). Then I was planning on writing some articles like the "lower cased one" does on his site ...
